It is the entrant’s duty to ensure that the electrical components used cannot cause injury under any circumstances, either during normal operation or in foreseeable cases of malfunction. It is also the entrant’s duty to ensure that the electrical components used for protecting persons or objects can reliably fulfil their function while the vehicle is on the official grounds of the event, which shall include the paddocks, the pits, the race course, and all areas connecting these locations on which it is reasonable to expect the vehicle to either be transported or to travel under its own power.
