Round 3 of the TTXGP UK, the world's leading zero carbon clean emission motorsport series will mark the return of Donington Park to top flight motorsports. Joining Snetterton, Anglesey and Brands Hatch; Donington Park completes the calendar for the TTXGP UK Championship 2010.

TTXGP are very excited to be holding qualifying rounds for the TTXGP UK championship at both at the Anglesey Circuit as well as during the "Welcome Back to Donington" weekend; marking the first race to be held at the newly reopened Donington park circuit.

Robert Fearnall, Donington's Racing Manager, welcomed the TTXGP UK Championship to the weekend programme, "In proving the diversity of the concept of the two wheel event and how it can pave the way forward towards the future generation of motorcycle sport and motorcycling in general."
The Donington Parks two day event will feature a host of motorcycle activities on-and-off the track and the attendance of a number of well known personalities. All facets of motor cycling will be included in the re-launch and the inclusion of the TTXGP Championship for electrically-powered motorcycles is a fitting environmental element to the weekend's theme of returning Donington Park to the heart of the UK motorsports with a clear vision for the future.

Donnington Park will be making the necessary arrangements for the race which will be held on the revised 1.9 mile national circuit. The weekend will include rider training, track day experiences, stunt shows, trade stands, displays, bands and free camping. The adult entrance fee is just £5 per adult per day.

Richard Peacock, General Manager, Anglesey comments, "We are delighted that TTXGP will be included as part of the Wirral 100 race meeting at Anglesey Circuit in July. We are working towards being carbon neutral as a venue and hosting an event which includes TTXGP strengthens our commitment to achieving this. The Wirral 100 have a strong spectator following and this will be an interesting and exciting addition to their regular race programme. Hopefully this will become a regular date within our race calendar."

Due to technical issues, the previous Round 1 at Cadwell Park and Round 3 at Castle Combe have been replaced to new dates and venues; Anglesey 24th & 25th July, and Donington Park; 21st & 22nd August.


This makes the TTXGP UK Championship 2010 calendar as follows:

Round 1...........Snetterton........10th & 11th July

Round 2...........Anglesey..........24th & 25th July

Round 3...........Donington Park....21st & 22nd August

Round 4...........Brands Hatch.......2nd & 3rd October
