eGrandPrix are pleased to announce that we will be taking part in the first International Motorcyclists Conference and the thirteenth Ride of the Members of the European Parliament this June in Brussels, Belgium. Invited by The Federation of European Motorcyclists Associations (FEMA), the Motorcycle Confederation of Canada (MCC) and the Australian Motorcycle Council (AMC); eGrandprix will take great pride in showcasing the latest developments in clean transport engineering as well as our world class race teams and bikes. Taking place on June 28th and 29th, founder and CEO, Azhar Hussain, will be part of a discussion on the next generation of motorcycles, addressing the following issues: How can motorcycling contribute to environmental issues? Can new technologies solve current problems? As well as the role motorsport can play in changing the hearts and minds of the general public on the viability of clean transport solutions.
The theme of the Conference, "Motorcycling into the 21st Century", will tackle key issues of the land transport sector - environment, technology and safety - offering a forum to exchange ideas, discuss challenges and offer solutions.
The two events organised by FEMA represent a unique opportunity to meet Members of the European Parliament, Members of the European Commission as well as high-level stakeholders from the motorcycle communities of Australia, Canada, Europe and the US.
The MEP Ride, an informal motorcycle ride through Brussels, is open to Members of the European Parliament and staff of the European Commission, as well as conference attendees.
The latest models from major motorcycle manufacturers will be available for the participants. For the first time, electric bikes will also be available for the test tracks and the MEP Ride, from manufacturers such as Mavizen, ZERO, Vectrix, Elmoto, GECO, and LUMA.
Both events will be covered by a press conference
